Bought it because it was for a decent price (I could sell it for more than I payed). What promisng upcoming games are coming besides Brawl and Mario Kart Wii? Or should I just beat Mario Galaxy and then resell it?Bought a Wii with Super Mario Galaxy
If you are just getting it, I would suggest checking out games that have already hit the little white box.Bought a Wii with Super Mario Galaxy

Here's a hint: Buy a console if you intend on playing more than just a few of it's games.;)
Here's a hint: Buy a console if you intend on playing more than just a few of it's games.;)
I figure there must be something coming, with the huge sales and Nintendo's past history. I enjoyed Gamecube games like Eternal Darkness, Starfox Adventures, Windwaker, Viewtiful Joe (before it got ported to ps2), Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4 and Melee (not sure I need another version). While that doesnt sound like alot of games, I got alot of playtime out of them.
Here's a hint: Buy a console if you intend on playing more than just a few of it's games.;)
Yup, who would buy a console if you only wanted to play 1 or 2 games...Anyways, why not look through the new releases section on Gamespot for all the upcoming games, TC? Unless you're creating this topic to make it look like the Wii has no big games beyond SSBB, of course.

wii's pretty worthless right now just sell it for a profit. Get it again in 2 years when support has caught upand get rid of your 360 and PSP for christ's sake

Well, if Super Mario Galaxy is the only game you have for it right now, you should probably get a few good games that have already come out. I'd reccomend Metroid Prime 3 (since you said you liked Metroid Prime), Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and Battalion Wars 2. Since you said you liked Wind Waker, I'd reccomend you get Okami for the Wii once that comes out, in case you never played it on the PS2.
Here's a hint: Buy a console if you intend on playing more than just a few of it's games.;)
If you are going to buy a console, it should have at least 5 games you would want to buy. The Wii more than fulfills that requirement for me, as does the 360. The PS3, on the other hand...not so much. :(
Yup, thats the good advice...
He can play most of the games from both on the PS3 and it's not as if they're cheapHe doesn't even own a DS which is pathetic in this day and age
You should get WiiFit, thank me later.

That and upscaled ps2 games, (my ps2 broke before I finished the games I owned).
If you can sell it for more than you paid, then DO IT. The Wii is just not worth the waste of time much less the money. You could be playing better games on better systems you know.
i bought the original Xbox for Jet Set Radio Future. i think one game is good enough reason to buy a platform. Here are some of my favs but you probably should go to the Wii forum with this post (the recommendation thread sticky)Metroid Prime 3: CorruptionNo More HeroesZack and Wiki: The Quest for Barbaros' TreasureResident Evil 4 Wii Edition (if you haven't played it already on another console)The Legend of Zelda: Twilight PrincessSuper Paper MarioWarioWare: Smooth Moves (if you want a minigame collection, this is the one to get)and for the future...Super Smash Bros BrawlMario Kart WiiOkami WiiHouse of the Dead 2 and 3 Return (sorry I love this game, I had to mention it)Wii Fit (if you wanna lose weight lol)...and you can be sure Nintendo will come around and milk all their classic franchises lol
