i heard that brawl will use the regular gc controller...instead of waggle.
Since Wii is riding on the Waggle as its main thing it brings to the table this gen...how much should Brawl's score suffer? I mean the game won't be using the innovation, nor will it be on par graphically with other titles...
so...I'm thinking like 1.0 should be deducted (if in fact the brawl doesn't use waggle)How much should Brawl's score suffer bec ...
I think it should get perks for not forcing the gimmick. So +2. :)How much should Brawl's score suffer bec ...
I think it can use three different controllers. Does the Wii remote use motion sensing at all?Either way, it will be great.
It should be deducted 0.0 for the reason stated.

but that's all the Wii has :(

It does use the motion sensing in some way, allowing you to tilt the controller in a certain direction to have you character perform a Smash Attack in that direction. The game doesnt try to force you into any one control method, and personally, I dont see what's wrong with that.

I don't necessarily think so. I don't agree with forced waggle, if they think GC controls are best, then that's that. Who cares.

Why should it suffer at all? Motion controlls would be horrible for this style of game, sort of like how RTSs are horrible with dual analog. A game should be judged by how well the controll scheme works with the game, not by how well it conforms to the standard controll schemes of the platform.

IF the graphics look like **** (not artistic style or anything like that, but graphics)...then yes.

Well then what's the point of the wiimote if it doesn't fit the best franchise the console's got?

That's the worst logic I've ever heard.
You shouldn't use something just because it's there. Using your logic, an artistic game on the PS3 should be penalized for not being super-realistic and using the PS3's power to its full capabilities.

Should it be affected because it chooses not to use certain features of the system. No, of course not.Should people raise an eyebrow to the fact that what will be one of the biggest games on the Wii doesn't embody the commpany's philosophy at all...hmm...
You can use motion control if you want.

It shouldn't be deducted anything at all. In fact, the game is much better off not fully utilizing ''waggle''. Trust me.
