gaming is still in the stone age

If you think about we have not come very far. The main problem is how we input with games. We are very limited in that way . one of the reasons why shooters are popular is that they are simple to make . we need somthing where we can use our bodys to work with a game. it is way better then just pushing the x button to use the sword. i rather swing the controller down on the guy. rather then just pushing a button and watching . games dont have much depth to them . most games are like go from point a to b and kill everything till you get a cut sene that tells you a story.gaming is still in the stone age

I dont understand how you can say gaming is in the stone ages, when you have no comparison to make with anything else. In terms of interactivity it's in the space age compared to other outlets. In regards to gaming in general it's far behind anything else when it comers to story and diversity. You either have the exstremly casual friendly/part games or the hardcore/violent games. Instead of deviding genres we are deviding audiences.
