GTA3/VC/SA's were always the worst on PS ...

teh Cows (stupid G$ fanboy names, lawl) have nothing to worry about with GTAIV, they'll just ride the wave of Sony's popularity and dominance just they are now with the PS3, oh wait ...GTA3/VC/SA's were always the worst on PS ...
One reason they sold so many more copies was because there were so many more Playstation 2's than ANY other console.A mega popular series like GTA is gonna sell well on any system, so obviously if theres so many more of one system then the GTA game will sell better on that one.Of course I could be wrong, it just seemed the simple answer to me.Ninjas > piratesGTA3/VC/SA's were always the worst on PS ...
You're aware that they came out on the PS2 much earlier, right?
Coming out 6 months before probably helped.
teh Cows (stupid G$ fanboy names, lawl) have nothing to worry about with GTAIV, they'll just ride the wave of Sony's popularity and dominance just they are now with the PS3, oh wait ...
i guess being timed exclusives and ps2 having a lager userbase had nothing to do with it.
If the 360 version of GTA 4 doesn't sell more than the PS3 version We have a problem.
1. The PS2 had a much larger userbase

2. The games were released much earlier on the PS2
hmmm, well I would imagine that because SA, VC, and GTA3 launched on the ps2 then that would be the reason for the big sales, they all got huge timed exclusives. 360 and ps3 gamers alike get GTA4 so what is there to complain over? Lets save system wars for the eclusives and or huge differences in content or something worth mentioning lol im not even getting gta4 y am I commenting
1. The PS2 had a much larger userbase 2. The games were released much earlier on the PS2
So? Teh Xbox has better graphix, wouldn't that have been worth waiting for??

plus other than san andreas, 3 and VC were exclusives, so no one knew they were coming out for xbox, by time they did, everybody who had both systems had prob already bought it for ps2
It's because of this thing called userbase. I hope it did sell more on the PS2 than the competitions. And now that the 360 has a larger install base than the PS3, GTA will sell more on the 360 than PS3. You see.

Grand Theft Auto on the PS2 was already a MEGA hit before the announcement of it going to the XBOX.
Coming out 6 months before probably helped.
that being the sole reason

Not the sole reason. By the time Vice City and San Andreas were released, the difference in userbases was gigantic.
:| Joke Thread?
