If the 360 controller is so much better ...

why doesnt a 3rd party company make one like the 360s for the ps3. i personally like the feel of the ps3 but i like the weight of the 360s (the new rumble should add weight though). but i hear so many people say it so why dont they make one?If the 360 controller is so much better ...
The exact design and shape of the pad will be owned by MS, and they wont licence it for competetors. If the 360 controller is so much better ...
The exact design and shape of the pad will be owned by MS, and they wont licence it for competetors.
well im sure they could find enough things to change on it to make it work, but if a 3rd party was able to do it, im sure it would sell very well (as long as it was a notable company like logitech)
I think that the 360 controller sucks due to the unfuntional DPAD.
The real question is, I have a third party 360 controller that uses a usb and installs onto my pc without needing added software. Now if thats the case can i just use the third party 360 controller on my ps3?
I think that the 360 controller sucks due to the unfuntional DPAD.
well see thats one of the things they can change on it. if MS own the design to it, dont they need to change it X% before its legal to make.

Anyway, I know, having seen it myself, that there is a ps2 controller than looks similar to a hybrid ps2/360 pad that allows you to swap the locations of the dpad and analog pad. I am sure we'll see one when more ps3's are in the hands of u.s. gamers.
360 controller is great. DPad is clunky, but functional.
i'd like that!!. but there is such a thing as stealing design...
