EDIT: Il miss listening to Phil, he was definetly one of my fav ppl at Sony, Good Luck Phil[/QUOTE] No, thats how it is spelled. It is a French company.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infogrames
InfoGrames sounds like a Breakfast Cereal. :
|I though that ship was sinking too. I guess he likes living dangerously.
Well that certainly will be a challenge, but if there was anyone I think could do it, it would be him. The guy knows what he's doing in the business, hopefully some of his experience as Sony will really help them make new interesting IPs.
Atari has been in financial trouble lately, but they look like they're on their way back with Alone In The Dark, which looks like an innovative survival horror game. I trust Phil Harrison to continue this and bring us a lot more amazing games.
Why would he go and do a stupid thing like that?Especially when Sony is finally starting to do good.
Oh...that's...not good. I talked to a guy who used to work there (at Atari specifically) and he said it was one of the worst jobs he's ever had...Well, I wish him the best of luck but I get the feeling this wasn't the best career decision.
Did he really say rumble was last gen?
The better be paying him well, why on earth would you leave Sony to go over to Atari of all places?

Downgrade Confirmed? Why would he leave sony to go to infogrames....
He probably got financially rewarded for taking the job. He will no doubt be making just as much money as he did at sony (why else would he leave.) This is his chance to make a name for himself... In his mind, if he revitalizes Atari, He will be a legend. The man who brought one of the older gaming companies back from the dead.
