theres only one reason its not going to happen. SOMETHING LIKE THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 10gigs. And thats at the least. I dunno about you, but if your going to be using ur same Hardrive for your ''custom sound track'' (which will be on the ps3 soon enough) ur not going to have much left. Infact, your going to have to have not had any demos, or pics. But meh. Thats my opinion. Why DLC wont be used for expansions for ...
120GB HDDWhy DLC wont be used for expansions for ...
The main reasons to say that it woulnd't be used is that1. Not all 360 owners have a HDD2. Not all 360 owners have internet-it would be like severely retarding your target market to do it that way.

Take those out and you're left with scripts and voice overs which won't take up much space.

Thats my opinion.
isn't that bigger than the capacity of the dvd the game will come on? they're not going to double the size of the game in the downloadable content. i think they could add a new area but i think it'll be much more likely that they add a few new mission strand, weapons, cars and the like. the stories in both versions are going to have to come to the same conclusions so adding anything massive will probably end up being a big empty space of useless junk
where did 10GB come from?DLC doesn't necessarily have to be that big
i don't even save my custom soundtracks, i just plug my ipod in and it works like that. and if you don't have a bigger HDD then you can always delete useless stuff (like demos), or temporarily delete something and re-download it again later; and you won't have to pay for it.

Just wondering, how big was the Oblivion expansion on Live?

sooo...the expansion is gonna be bigger than GTAIV?
The entire main game fits on a DVD, why would the expansions need 10gb...?Anyway, I won a 120gb 360 HD from X3F last September... I'm all set regardless.
Just wondering, how big was the Oblivion expansion on Live?
i think it was just under 1GB 900mb? dont remember though
But GTAIV isn't even 10gigs. Why the heck would an expansion need to be that big?

Why would it be as big as 10 gigs when it's just an expansion of the current build and not a completely new build. But I know I know, it's just a form of damage control. You can only play the definitive version on a 360. Jump in.
Sucks for Arcade owners

Rockstar also probably won't make the Expansion a massive improvement because they would effectively be killing off their PS3 version by obviously limiting its ability to compete, I mean, no one would buy the PS3 version knowing that they are paying the same amount as Xbox 360 users only they are actually limiting their ability to massively improve the game....................
