why peope treat pc like a god

Ok I saw someone in another thread say why do people do that. Before opinions set in let me state the facts.1. PC has better graphics than consoles even eith my 150 dollar gfx card.2. Has more games/exclusives than any other console.3. Has most controls like 360 controller, flight sim controller, and mouse/controller.4. Can hook up to any TV you can think of like projectors, LCD, Plasma, SD TV's.5. Is more expensive but lets not forget what else you can do with a computer. And dont you have to upgrade every month because the most popular 8800 will last for probably 4-6 years and mine since it isnt as powerful 2-4.Now the consoles are a bit more sociable but both have LAN and online and to me thats all I need because I dont like to share TV's.But still both have exclusives so you bought your console for that exclusive but I cant see how a pc couldnt fit you because of how its made.why peope treat pc like a god
A PC just isn't for everyone.
I use mine to MSN on, visit websites, sometimes design stuff (when not on my Mac).
But games? Too expensive... I'm not a hardware guy, and upgrading all the time is way to costly.
Furthermore, I actually like using controllers/Wiimote over mouse/keyboard (personal taste?).

And I overall like console exclusives more then PC exclusives.why peope treat pc like a god

i know why it shouldnt be viewed as a god, and here it is.....''You got a virus'' crap now that system you spent $1,000 plus dollars on is fried and it will take 50 to 200 usd to fix it! yeah my desktop is still fried
I'm a PC gamer. I just don't see the attraction with consoles. Thats my taste though.I honestly understand why people don't like PC and i'm fine with it. It really isn't for everyone. What i do hate though is people who bash it without ever actually trying it. If they do try it, still don't like it, then i'm fine with it. This is the first year ever i am without one of the big consoles, i sold my 360 last year. I do own a wii but don't count that as its different type of gaming.
Without PCs, game consoles would not exist and neither would their games.Common sense:You need a computer to create a video game. Game designers need computers to design games, programmers need a computer to program games, and almost everything needed to create a videogame requires a computer of some sort.As for hardware, think of consoles as specialized PCs whose primary function is to play games, rather than ''compute'' (that last part might not make a whole lot of sense, but hopefully you get the overall picture of what I'm trying to say.)
The only game I play on my PC is Halo. But I'm pretty much a console gamer.
When I saw the Thread Title, I thought it said ''why pope treats pc like a god''.

How about you reformat your hard drive and accept your data loss, next time get some virus protection and be smart about what sites you go to/download. Paying someone that much money to fix your PC is terrible when you can easily do it yourself by actually researching what to do.
I'm not into the PC(all I play is Gunbound and some freeware stuff really,Marathon,Warzone 2100,the stuff that's easy on my crap hardware :P) but I understand the attraction some have to it. Just not my cup of tea.

If you get a virus its the end user's fault. Heres vandal's quick guide to not getting a virus:

A) Don't go to malicious sites.

B) Don't open suspicious e-mails.

If you have a virus scanner and firewall on top of those, they will not get it.
Whats funny is I have a gaming rig.... But I dont use it much... Only for counter strike.... Whatever my friends are on is what I'm on. Plus I like the 360s controller.... But hey thats just me.

I love PC gaming but it's not for everyone. Everybody doesn't like the hassle.

There isn't much of a hassle when you put it into perspective. Heck, consoles are becomming even more of a hassle.

NONE GAMES :P ) .I dont know what people do but I use PC's more than most casual people .... and yet I never get viruses ... quite strange really.Back on topic, PC Isnt GOD, its just THE BEST platform imo ofcourse, I can see why alot of peopel dont like it. Theres only 2 points I can really give to consoles:1) Playing with friends.2) Alot of interesting characters and exclusives

I'll bet my whole gaming library on it that I could've bought all three consoles from it last gen.
