I never minded multiple discs for ANY game, most of my ps1 games were multidisced. I never cared about it back then, and I still don't now. People are just looking for an excuse to bash systems.Whats the big deal about swapping discs?
It's because we're in the next generation of consoles. Consoles should ''evolve'' from having to do this. I don't find disc-swapping to be that bad but I perfer to have the entire game on one disc.
It is the cows that are complaining about it, or that I see. If it is the other way around and the 360 has Blu-Ray and the PS3 uses DVD-9, it would be the lems who would be whining. It is nice, but disc swapping is not that major of a deal.
It's not a big deal, DVD9 has reached it's peak this generation just like the CD did during the 32-bit generation. Also, if Kojima found 50GB to be inadequate, I'm sure he would have opted for 2 disks. This ''next generation'' mentality is just silly.

I'm sure having the game on multiple disc doesn't change anything. It seems low-tech to have to use more than one disc to complete a game, but really it's just a very small inconvience only nerds need argue about.
We shouldn't have to be swapping discs in this day and age. Would you want to swap DVD's while watching a movie? I know that would annoy the crap out of me. Swapping discs is just an unncessary annoyance.

There's nothing wrong with swapping discs. As long as each discs holds 10 hours of game then I don't mind. Give me 500 discs, I wouldn't care.
I think all cows and lems are missing the point. This past month the real reason why Sony included Blu-ray on the PS3 was proven and it had nothing to do with games. It single handedly won the format war. Without the PS3 it would be a stalemate or slightly in favor of HDDVD because it was less costly.Yes its a small plus that you probly wont have to switch discs because of the 50GB on a Blu-ray disc but that wasnt a deciding factor for Sony when they decided to put it in PS3, it was more of a side effect than anything.

Yeh because sitting in front of the TV playing games and watching movies isn't lazy anyway. It must be HD's fault

[/QUOTE]Exactly. Despite that it's low tech, it is not bad that it will destroy or hinder the game experience. However, I never played a multiple-disc game and could never imagine myself doing so. If a game that I'm looking forward to does require multiple disc, I will still buy it. I perfer the entire game to be on disc but I don't see how multiple discs are incredibly bad. Yes, it's low tech but not entirely bad.
Its not a big deal, but its just more convenient for it to be one disk. The only place its a big deal is system wars.
